As Scottie might say, I should do it in my book but with your all caps
paul, I'm glad to restore some faith which by the way doesn't happen when
you download Fides Et Ratio by John Paul II. It would take a bottle of
that fine whiskey you once did a show about to get through this text but
by the second paragraph the Pope
had me going and thinking of our list's own holy father...unfortuantely at
the end of some 40 pages, what the Pope seems to be saying (after plenty
of lovely paragaraphs about how the church digs philosophy!) was beyond
me. Reading anything is form of faith!

Since moving to the east from Colorado sixmonths or so ago, I've found
very little Salinger stuff at the Strand and I go there at
least once a month....someone is getting to their Salinger texts--only
a few years ago I could usually find some nice hardcovers of F&Z or
RHTRBC&SAI. Nonetheless, you never know and if you look at criticsm you
might consider my opinion that Hamilton is definitely better than
Alexander but I still think going to the library and reading _Salinger
Revisted_ by Warren French is the most useful way to learn beyond the
primary texts and this list.

I saw it on the web for under $100.00--I'm surprised no one on the list
has one...I'm guessing the Kit book has some value but I don't know...
