I know most of you hate this perenial arguement, but honestly to me
it's like sports; you don't really care who wins, you just want to see a
good game.

Robbie, it's good to see you back in the ring. Looks like you've been
doing some training for this round too. I was afraid Jim was just going
to pull rank and muscle you out.

I'm just going to sit back and play referee, or maybe play a manager of
the WWF and hop into the ring now and then.

A Physics explaination of the creation of the universe: Hawking says
that the Big Bang starts from a incredibly massive point, which like black
holes creates a Sigularity. A singularity means a Time-Space (for lack of
a better word) where the laws of physics may not apply. That is, after
you get past the event horizon (the border of our Time-Space and whatever
it is that the Sigularity exists in) all bets are off. We have no idea
what happens in there. Causation may not exist; logic may not exist. So
How does this pertain to the argument at hand? Well, it means that the
atheist who relies on physics must stop just after the sigularity. The
theist can say all he wants about the sigularity because he believes in
things that can't be proven. But the point is that there is no point
talking about the Big Bang and how it rivals or doesn't rival the creation
of the universe by God/s (yes, I feel we shouldn't limit our theist to one
god. why bind him so). Hawking also states that since we don't know what
comes at the sigularity, it still leaves a place for God/s in the
explaination.

But since we're on the concept of a Christian God let's look at
something that is germain to the argument:

   What is Faith?

Faith is the belief in something without having any proof.

God decrees that Faith in Him is necessary to get into heaven/ be a
Christian. (see text)

Invalidating anything God says is a no-no.

Therefore (and I wish I could make my three dot triangle here) to prove
God is impossible.

If it were possible there would be no reason for Faith. In fact, if
you proved it then Christianity would become part of science. (Science is
a cheap whore; it doesn't care who it gets its facts from).

So really, what are the theists trying to get at by arguing for God's
existance with Atheists. And as for the atheists, well you guys should
know better than to pick a fight with someone who believes in magic.
