Sonny! My Main Man!

Where ya been all my life?

We must talk....

Cheers,

Paul

OSR--I think it's just a bit bizarre (and I'm quite prepared to stand
corrected here....) that Jerry would borrow from Burns to come up with his
catchiest (ouch!) title, but never mention Burns as one of Seymour's poetic
mentors. As we proved in our AULD LANG SYNE discussion a few weeks back,
the Afton Bard built sentences with words that could often be as slippery as
quicksilver. And as Scottie so amply demonstrated in his masterful
characterization of Burn's psyche, every line of every poem brings opposites
together--as does the very best of Asian verse.... So why not tip the hat
towards Scotland once again, Jerry? Do you suppose it could be a classic
case of "Burns-out"?
