With due respect, may I point to some of the following articles which deal
with the subject matter of the recent exchanges on the list? I have had a
link to my friend John Catalano's excellent site on Richard Dawkins (also
allegedly a Catcher fan, by the way. Oops, with deference to Will, let me
say a fan of "The Catcher in the Rye") on my page for a long time (though I
have been too lazy to update the URL) and this is as good a time as any for
a plug for him and for Richard Dawkins.

I am tempted to bring in Richard Smullyan's "Is God a Taoist" too, but
perhaps Woody Allen's "God" is good enough to start. And to neatly round it
off with an ObSal reference, perhaps it is _quite necessary_ to think about
what Mark Chapman allegedly experienced and believed too.
