    Dear Father Rovira,

    Can you help me?

    I haven't the slightest doubt that we invent the reassuring
    image of a loving Father to soothe our anxieties in the face
    of this cruel Universe. And nothing seems more risible than
    those poor, terrified sods forever falling on their knees hoping
    to placate Him.

    How is it, then, that my own childish supplications to Dad
    are invariably granted? And that goodness & mercy have
    followed me all the days of my life?
