Whatever you do, don't make them read "Teddy".

Subject: Four Stories

Greetings, all. I'm putting together the Salinger portion of next
semester's syllabus for my composition class, and I'm anxious to hear what
the list thinks of the nine shorter short stories. I ordered the
mass-market paperback edition, so we'll have all nine to choose
from, but we only have time to read four. "Bfish" and "Laughing Man" are
in, and I'd like to stay away from "Esme" (students don't seem to like it
very much). What do you all think of the other six?
