i, myself, am an avid music fan...not of that pop-ish crap..the stuff that
has meaning..and yes, its out there..sometimes hard to find...and some music
is just for the fun of it...music is great..see, i play guitar...not only is
music an outlet for my emotions, its a way to get together with people and
share a moment.."music is the glue of the world..without it, life would be
meaningless" (empire records) some music is universal, some holds thoughts
close to only some. i dont 'shake my bon bon, back that thang up, or such.
i instead choose to listen to good music...with meaning. my favorites are
black lab, our lady peace, blink 182 (old stuff..not the newer whats my age
again stuff..)and bush...i also like the good old stuff. some meaning comes
through words..some through the music...although some dont understand "smells
like teen spirit" the music conveys such strong feelings of angst. it gives
people something to relate to...and something to entertain...it provokes
thoughts and stirs people to action..some is nonsense, for fun...and some is
serious... you cant tell me that something out there doesnt stir you..maybe
you havent happened upon it yet..but its out there..
