Elements of E-mail Style by David Angell and Brent Heslop was
published in l994 and may be terribly out of date now, but the
authors suggest that writers limit line length to 80 characters. In
Wired Style by Constance Hale and Jessie Scanlon, line length is not
discussed in their email entry.
When poetry is posted as email, I think line length is important...I
wondered if Scottie was implying his email is poetry?
