Yeah, we had this discussion before. I'm thinking of his essay "The
Work of Art in an Age of Mechanical Reproducability" -- it talks about
the democratization of art by moving away from the fetish of being
physically handled by the artist. This is true in film , mass produced
books, prints, etc.

I still haven't read that essay about his library. Within the next two
months. I promise. I suspect his theory didn't follow his feelings on
this point.
