Clever idea. Especially since frequently a lot of the listmembers enjoy discussing
other works besides Salinger at the drop of a hat yet may not know how to remotely
make any sort of ob-salinger connection to his work.

The refute to this would probably be "That's what the 'Modern Literature' mailing
list is for." or whichever lists deal with more scope and less focus. Anyone on
those types of lists? Are those lists more of an "online book club"?
