I'd hate to see someone try to take on that question in a FAQ, it seems there
are 5 to 10 viable answers to the question, and most people think their idea
is right.  This list has discussed the question many times and there is no
answer short enough or definitive enough for a FAQ.  Any attempt should list,
possibly, the top 5 theories, but leave it up in the air.  Let the reader
decide for himself, don't shove him in one direction
