Jim >> thanks jim--- i understand what you mean now, keep in mind, it is 2:00 am as i read / write this : ) another who did this pretty well, about a century after wordsworth did 'intimations of immortality', etc, is dylan thomas---fern hill, etc. i adore both of their takes on this issue, especially what wordsworth was saying, particularly in 'intimations...'. i mean, he pretty much says it, except perhaps the structure of the time prevented him from actually saying it. bethany
