The list consensus after Eberhard Alsen seems to be that Buddy's full name
is W(ebb) G(allagher) Glass. The evidence? In Hapworth, Buddy's name is
revealed to be W.G.Glass. Lionel's uncle is named Webb. Gallagher is
Bessie's maiden name. Admittedly speculation, though.
