this whole thread kinda reminds me of my early impressions of this list.  I've
been on other author-based listserves, and to be honest with you, I've never
seen this kind of approach to an author anywhere else.  It's like we're
talking about a religious experience or something.

Other authors?  Two words: Italo Calvino The new Homer.  Read Cosmicomics, or
Mr. Palomar.  The Baron in the Trees is more mainstream storytelling, and for
you lit theorists out there you HAVE TO read If one a winter's night a
traveler...
