i haven't read my mail for days but i just thought i'd share which book really clicked with me. jean paul sartre's _nausea_ did the trick...i've read most of his fiction and some of his essays/theoretical pieces, and i can say honestly that he stands out not only as the epitome of a movement, but also as a brilliant writer. its a worthwhile read, and its relatively short. bethany
