PS If I were somehow to Seriously consider the question, to Really force
myself to think, it may be that said female did or did not throw away the
chicken sandwich for reasons similar to Franny's keep of the kitschy
golden swizzle stick.  It meant something to her because it meant
something to the person who gave it to her.
