Just as a kind of "FYI" for other people who can't unsubscribe: Our victim
here has a number of accounts, and in complaining from one that he can't
unsubscribe, but receiving our "garbage" in the other account, he's in a
bit of what appears to be a circle.
I manually removed both his addresses, so the Tanner mailbox should be
garbage-free now.
It's unfortunate that computers are as literal as they are, and sometimes
things that seem easy are hard and things that seem hard are easy, and it's
tough to predict which is which.
If you are one of the afflicted, please contact me personally and I will
manually remove you. If you have multiple accounts, or you have a tendency
to change your account names, or you subscribe with one identity, then move
to a new account and forward your mail there, and can't post or subscribe,
that's what I'm here to help with. (Though it would make both our lives
easier if you would unsub before jumping to a new account!) Just send
along a friendly private note, and I'll be happy to remove your
subscription.
I'll send a private message to the Tanners, and let them know that their
problem is ended....
