Hi, this is the first message I send, even though I've been reading and
enjoying messages on this list since March 1999. I'm Roberto from Italy,
another non mother-tongue participant in the list :-) I'm 27 and got back to
university after a 3-year break, now working at my final dissertation on
Salinger's short stories (I haven't written anything yet, just reading and
trying to get hold of books, articles and so on). What kept me from writing
before wasn't shyness or fear of judgement, just lack of time and language
barriers...
I hope to be more prolific in the future,
