Oh God, will, courage and integrity are two words I'd never apply to
Margaret Salinger. I think exhibitionism and family gossip for money
are more appropriate :). When I sifted through the details she gave me,
I found I didn't really understand Salinger's fiction better at all.
When she did talk about it, she seemed to miss the point.
I did feel I was getting one view of Salinger as a person, though, and
some of the details may be useful, but then shouldn't be accepted
unquestioningly.
