Consult Jacques Derrida, *Of Grammatology*, page 158, I believe.

Alternatively, consult the list archives. I think we've been through this
before.

In case of emergency, consult John Omlor, of course.

I've been using the same signature for years, but only this week does it
seem to be specifically of interest. In fact, I'm having a delightful
exchange on the topic with another member of the Bowman clan, who is
distrustful of Derrida (a bit tendentiously so--it runs in the family, I'm
afraid). I await advice on "Consummatum Est" as a possible replacement
signature (diss defense was June 27, for those of you familiar with my
particular occupational affliction, and so "it" is indeed "finished").

Until a replacement signature is chosen, however, there is no
outside-text.

Matt
