Ah Scottie,

You're wrong. The creepiest among us are indeed often the most joyous as
well. And yes, I have great fun in my life every day, even amidst all the
horror. Why not both? Both Kafka and Céline are hilarious. Besides, the joy I have
really isn't all that different from the joy the "happy-clappy evangelist"
has -- perhaps mine's just a bit messier, stickier, and more wonderfully evil
(although given their apparent penchant for late nights in cheap hotels by the
airport with women named after donuts, perhaps not even that much messier or
wonderfully evil after all).
