    Well, I guess as usual Robbie has the final, reasonable word.

    But, God, how I wish I could hear: 'Strepson autôi kai tén allén...',
    recognising its meaning even as it was uttered & without having
    recourse to dictionaries & a dog-eared copy of 'Learn Ancient
    Greek'.

    I feel like some silly old fool who has fallen pathetically for this
    dazzling & exotic girl - wholly unattainable - & whose best hope
    is to hang around her place waiting, one day, to be allowed hold
    the door for her.
