So it's come to this? An innocent little joke by Sunny has got every idiot
with no life of their own (and it would appear there are a lot of you on
this list sitting around the house bored this summer. Turn off your
goddamned computer and go swimming or pick apples or berries if this is the
best you can contribute to the mailing list) on this list behaving as a
contestant on To Tell The Truth trying to milk someone ELSE'S joke because
not only are they too intellectually bankrupt to think up their own
contribution to the list, be it humourous or not, but they'd rather
sacrifice their own identity and walk around deluding themselves they are
someone who has actually DONE SOMETHING, CONTRIBUTED SOMETHING with their
life. Well, I'll have you know that I really am Malcolm Lawrence and find
no need to hide behind such monikers as "candy colored clown they call the
sandman." Takes a lot more guts to simply be who you are than dissolve your
identity into whomever you idolize/the media idolizes. Ya bunch of fucking
phonies. Sunny's attempt at humor was successful after we found out it was
him because we on the list know Sunny's respect for JDS as well as all
literature in general. The rest of you have nothing to add to the list
outside of the fact that you've all just let the rest of the list know that
you don't "get" Salinger at all.
