I really don't see why getting a life has to mean spending less time on a
computer or reading less seriously.  I have an electric and literate life
that is predicated on enjoying this screen!  I walk in a canyon
everyday, live next to a creek, and think nature is a lot less fun than
logging on or reading a book.  I grant others their preferences, but don't
understand why so many routinely think lives are more real in nature or
why experiencing text isn't real life...I think we each choose to read
(after school) in individual ways and it's less fruitful to attack those
ways than it is to find the fruits of them...will
