Wondering why Seymour committed suicide -- why he did it in his hotel room with Muriel asleep nearby and what her reaction might have been -- makes me wonder why Seymour married Muriel in the first place. What lead them to that kind of commitment? Why would someone of Seymour's supposed intellect marry someone as supposedly phony as Muriel? Thoughts anyone?
