Holden's sanity

perhaps Salinger is making some kinda play on society, like holden isn't 
the crazy one, but he's the one who's in therapy; the phoniness is 
everywhere...where are the evidence of all these personalities, if he is 
supposed to be schizophrenic? i don't see that at all. i think that one 
of the main points of the book is that holden is confused about growing 
up, not a raving maniac with a bunch of people running around in his 
brain.
