Ok, creative judgment is a TOTALLY different issue from what I've been
talking about (where meaning comes from in a text), and I agree with you,
Scottie.
I do believe younger writers need more direction than more seasoned ones,
and I have benefitted immensely from good suggestions from good readers,
but when it comes down to it, I'm the writer when I'm writing, and my
judgment comes first.
No question there.
