I read the first few chapters of TCIR to the teenage playwriting/drama
class I used to teach as an exemplar of first person narrative. It had them
so engrossed it was hard to put it down and get them started on work! It's
definitely a wonderful book to read out loud, where you can get a good
sense of the dynamics of the language.
