No > way :) Sorry, I should have expressed myself a little better - I should have written Top Ten *In No Particular Order*. I find it just as impossible as anyone to put some of my favourites ahead of any others. What I was hoping to establish is some information, links, and most importantly, reader opinions, about Ten (or so) of the greatest short story writers of the past century or so. No Modern Library how-could-they-leave-X about it - I just wanted to provide quality not quantity and perhaps introduce some people to excellent writers they otherwise wouldn't have encountered (short stories also being the ideal way to do this). Absolutely the most important thing in my mind is, as Patrick said, that we read them with passion.
