Excellent.  I think comparing "high style" lit to something more
contemporary and pop sort of "takes the edge" off of it.  Its always fun to
give a classic piece of lit a slightly different slant.  I once wrote a
comparison paper on Tennyson's "Marianna" and the song "She Talks to Angels"
by The Black Crowes.
