I think I might have brought this up before, but I don't think I got any
responses, so I'll bring it up again: Why is Salinger (supposedly...)
publishing this book? Is there some hidden secret behind it, or is he simply
publishing it because he feels it's an important part of the Glass epic? I
have wondered if maybe he plans to include something else in the book (an
introduction, preface, or something else revealing) that we have not heard
about.
I'm just interested in what others think about this publishing... I mean, you
don't just quit publishing for 30 years and then start again for nothing
(except, possibly, in the strange, complicated world of JD Salinger...) *( 8(
