Ok, I'm one that normally speaks up, but you'll hear from me anyhow :)
I've seen very little flaming on this list too. I think some people tend
to take disagreement with their ideas personally, and even on the idea
level feelings can run high, but most people I've seen know the
difference between personal attacks and disagreement no matter how
frustrated they may get with the argument.
I think the most personal stuff I've seen is Scottie's constant teasing
about Camille's Australianism, and I think he's just having a bit of fun
at her expense.
I mean, she can't help that, we all understand, and pity her
appropriately
heh :)
