I really want to thank people for posting alot of their favorites on
the list. I have a new batch of books on my "to read" list now.

There were a couple of books that really changed me that I haven't seen
anyone mention -

Charles Lindbergh's "The Spirit of St. Louis" is excellent, even
better for being true.
"A Prayer for Owen Meany" by John Irving
A book named "To Timbuktu" by Mark Jenkins got me so revved up I went
canoeing for a while in the Ten Thousand Islands of the Florida
Everglades after I read it - and then started skydiving.

Musically, Pete Seeger is an inspiration, as are Mahler symphonies 1, 5
and 7. When I was a teenager, a song called "I am the Ressurection" by
the Stone Roses got caught in my head and never really left.

For whoever cared, those are my favorites.

Thanks again everyone,
Mark, in Michigan

ObSalinger - It was S:AI that taught me just how important a story can
be.
