one word answer: No.  It doesn't bore me - I still always find
something in that music that's insightful, exciting or enjoyable - for
me also includes Hendrix and Anthem of The Sun (Dead -'68).   When new
stuff in the 70's began to bore me I discovered jazz: Coltrane and the
pantheon.   If you want something wild (rather than suggest '75
electric Miles stuff) check out the Sign of Four on Knitting Factory
Records - Pat Methany and other N.Y. musicians "take it to eleven" with
a wasps nest of collective improvisation - Dark Star or Cream's
Spoonful meets Coltrane's Ascension - Metallica don't hold no candle to
it (the last crack is the latent football hooligan in me I suppose)

Only one other thing to say.  I know all about Ani Difranco and I 'fess
up: haven't listened to her yet, it's a crime.
