I was going to recommend Bruce Chatwin, until someone reminded me that
SONGLINES is supposed to be anthropologically questionable.  Then I
remembered that BC is, alas, no longer with us....  Besides which, I suspect
that Camille would consider it oh so imperialistic if we were to commission
a non-Aussie....

But I miss her too...

(She should be virtually visible from outer space, since she's toting a
library that would dwarf the Sydney Opera House!)
