I'm back from Madison, NJ now and only had 29 messages...not bad :) I flew from Orlando, FL to Raleigh/Durham and it cooled down considerably. Then when I landed in Newark I thought...did the Freaking Plane make a U-Turn back to Orlando. GAWD. Hot and muggy. I made it to NYC for a few hours and had to decide between Central Park, the Empire State building, and The Strand bookstore, all within walking distance of Penn Station. Very difficult choice. I now own a new edition of Calvino's short stories, the Analects of Confucious, and some buddhist literature. Everyone I spoke to in NYC was very nice. Yeah, Ed, after I sent that post I remembered a few other high points musically, at least. I liked Billy Preston's Get Back, I liked Elton John's Lucy in the Sky, and I don't remember the EW and F, but the way you're talking about it makes me want to go out and buy the soundtrack again.
