Yeah, it was a very lucky find.  They were in mint condition when I
bought them.  It wasn't a 2nd hand bookshop or anything like that, they
were on sale as new books.  I can't remember exactly how long ago I got
them, probably around 1978--1980.

In a recent article in the New Yorker they said a new edition of the
'Uncollected' was on sale, so it might be worth looking out for them.
In the same article they said original editions of the uncollected go
for $500 when they come up.
