Hello bananafish people,
My name is Pete and I'm a college sophomore right now, and I'm the newest
addition to the bananafish mailing list. I heard about all this on the
Salinger website. To my chagrin, I am merely an amateur reader/writer, but
a
big fan of Salinger since my required adolescent reading of "Catcher in the
Rye." Fortunately, my interest grew beyond that, and I now own the rest of
his
publicized works. I'm very excited to be with all the intellectual minds
associated with this mailing list. That's all, I hope this entire e-mail
wasn't too lame.
