Yo, what up, ya bunch a fried green bananas?

So does anyone think Matt Salinger will make any of
JDS's stuff into plays when he and his sibs control
the copyrights?

(Please don't take this to mean that I hope JDS kicks
off soon. No! I hope he lives til 135 if you want to
know the truth. So don't even comment on that. Comment
on the first part. :) )

Which stories or whatnot do you all think would make a
good play? I for one think CITR would NOT translate
well at all to the stage, but that Pretty Mouth/Green
Eyes would be funny (though perhaps a bit short).
Perfect Day/Bananafish would be too cliche and have
too abrupt an ending, even though it is a shocker.
Might Hapworth be translated into something actually
fantastic in dramatic form by some creative director?
Ah, Franny & Zooey would be fantastic.

Incidentally, I once staged the CITR scene around when
Holden gets socked in the nose for a directing class
in college and it was great, GREAT fun bringing some
of that book to life.
