no doubt tina has this pirate game, and won't share!

what's fun to do is try to find "Paula". Stag magazine used to be pretty tame back in the forties...now is a hardcore porn outfit...if it's even the same company. nobody there answers my letters or e-mails regarding any old dusty file cabinets they might have for sale...

hey tina, i'll trade you copies of salinger's ursinus articles (xeroxed from originals) for copies of "ocean of bowling balls" and "last best of peter pans"...c'mon!

at first i thought you were kidding!

you aren't, are you?

i think firestone has only five salinger stories.

if you include the titles which yogada cites, plus the
unnamed stories jds submitted to the new yorker which
were NOT published (as late as 1951), plus stories
mentioned in the letters to whit b., then there is
quite a hoard. (Not to mention the two, twenty, or
two hundred which fill up that room-sized vault in
cornish.)
