heh...you still have to deal, Scottie, with the tension between what you
meant and what the poem can actually say :).

But if the word "pussy" were used instead of "cat" in an English
translation, you'd have the same connotations. I still wouldn't think
the poem was going in that direction, though. A sexual reference
wouldn't really fit any kind of meaning within the poem -- it doesn't do
any work
