movie rant

I am so,so,so tired of your bloody American films with their
clothes-changing montages. Spending five minutes of a film changing into
bizarre supposed-to-be-funny outfits just so that they can stretch the film
time and add another song to the soundtrack says to the viewer "The movie
isn't terribly interesting and we have no imaginations to extend the
plotline" My god, I half the films I watch I want to demand the two hours
of my life back. My solution: I've taken to renting movies, putting 6 CD's
on the stereo set to "random" then watch the movie in fast forward. a 90
minute film comes in at about 40 minutes, and I believe American films can
be fully realized in fast forward, because they don't tend to bog films down
with things like dialogue and plots. Thanks for listening. I'm better now.
