Didn't Churchhill say something like, "Democracy is the worst form of government,
but its better than all the rest." The constitutional book burning latitude is
one of those paradoxes that is also the best thing going. But the right to do it
is followed closely by the right to critize those who do it and for what is worth,
I think buring books, although protected, is tacky and cheaply sensationalist.
Asserting personal opinion by quashing other's chafes at (what my college
government professors called) the free market of ideas.
