Did anyone bring up Sue Townsend? I had a friend visitig recently who had
introduced me to JDS in college and we had lost touch with each other, so
it was nice meeting him after so long. Anyway, he was looking at my
bookshelves and we were discussing authors that we've liked in the last 10
years. Apart from the obviosu ones like Heller, and Douglas Adams and
Rushdie (and John F.Kennedy Toole's Confederacy of Dunces, somebody we both
agreed on unanimously was Sue Townsend's adrian Mole series. How come JDS
lovers didn't bring it up here? Another one of those riot-a-minute books...
