nanda, I was touched by your post--having returned from a trip to hawaii
for an academic conference, what moved me most was the way the books I
read (_Paradise News_ & _Small World_ by David Lodge) "spoke to me" and
seemed to weave their fiction into my "real life." Certainly Catcher does
that for many of us, but it was good to have your post and my trip's
reading to confirm the ways fiction is reality. will
