Hi all. What's this dig about Burroughs being shite because he has no
plot? Never read him myself but gee, hasn't that dig been made of our
very own JDS as well? Also, just a point: re one of my favorites,
Conrad: was there really a plot in "Heart of Darkness?" I don't think
there was. And JC reminds me-who would you include if the greatest
authors list was opened to all of the 20th century? Perhaps Fitzgerald?
Perhaps Conrad? Who else? I wonder if anyone thinks any non-WASP
authors are worthy of The List. (just something i noticed about the
majority of the names we came up with.)
