OFF TOPIC NOTICE!!! (for those who care about such shackles) >> "god loves his children" >> -radiohead. > I don't listen to much Radiohead, but I've always heard that line with >an overwhelming sense of its parodic/sarcastic/ironic overtones. I agree. I think the exact line repeats it twice, 'god loves his children, god loves his children, yeah'. The 'yeah' addendum becomes something of a 'yeah, whatever you reckon', 'sure thing' and even 'whuteeeever' (although I would never use any of those terms). I think that this line is perhaps delivered with the same critical overtone of 'talk show host'. They're not exactly songs of praise. But I'm not sure how Paul delivered the quote anyway. But who's to say? The best things we receive today are media Rorschach Tests. They set the stage for introspection and deduction without force-feeding the talk-show-infomercial-microsoft-fast-food-culture. Anybody who hands you the ink-blot with a label on it might as well provide you with a list of your favourite hobbies as well. :) -brad
