Mr. Norton, I found that story a long time ago when someone first told me about it in college and I wished then it would be published. I heard that Salinger kept the manuscript unpublished for reasons of inadequate money, but this info could be false. In books in print it came up as $999, un-orderable the last time I checked. RC
