Rumor has it that Ken Kesey was only given $20,000 for the movie rights to
_One Flew Over_ and he was so angry with their casting of Jack Nicholson that
he never saw the movie.  It makes me think about the subjectivity of
literature and its translation onto film as a way of trying to force finality.
Just a thought.
