I haven't been up to date on my emial lately...but this message caught my eye 
and I had to respond.  I totally agree that the quote above is the one of the 
most beautiful things I have ever read.  In response to the whole unreliable 
narrator thing, I haven't read Gatsby in a while, but as I remember Nick was 
pretty reliable.  I liked how he narrated and yes, he didn't know everything, 
but it wasn't like he was telling falsities.  He most definatly had a strong 
connection with Gatsby, especially by the end of the book, but I wonder if 
that was only because Gatsby knew he was related to...I've forgotten the 
name, Daisy is it?  That coudl be totally wrong.  I'll end here.  I'm a 
little sick, and sleepy, my words are becoming incohesive.
